Hello, we have a 425 gaussmeter, and we want to output the real time analog signal via the monitor output (or auxiliary i/o connector) to an oscilloscope. The gaussmeter auxiliary is a 25pin d-sub, and our oscilloscope uses NBC as inputs, so I assume i should make a 2 wire cable to conect the 25pin d-sub to and NBC. The question is which pins in the d-sub are safe to use: I guess pin 1 is mandatory ("monitor out" says the manual), and then one of the "ground" pins (14, 15 or 16). Thanks in advance,

You are correct that the signal (Center pin of the BNC) needs to be connected to Pin 1 of the D-sub connector. The shell of the BNC connector can be connected to any one of the three ground connections.
