I am trying to configure a 331 to interface with Lakeshore Curve Handler 9 through a National Instruments GPIB-USB-HS+. The IEEE address on the device is set to 12, the IEEE term set to EOI.
In Lakeshore Curve Handler, under the connect tab I set the device to Lakeshore Model 331 and the GPIB address to 12. When I try to connect, I get the message "Unable to communicate with the instrument."
The device DOES appear in NI Measurement & Automation Explorer as Model331S, and I am able to communicate with it. When sent the command "*IDN?", the 331 returns "LSCI,MODEL331S,331697,032301".
I believe I have the relevant software and drivers installed (see photo), so I don't think that's the problem.
I would greatly appreciate any advice about what I can do to successfully connect my 331 to Lakeshore Curve Handler.
