A very happy new year to you.
I just wanted to share my experience of calibration of Cernox sensors. We did calibration using a cryo cooler set up. upto 30 K-3K, we used heater to get the points and above 30K points were taken from the cooling curve or warm up curve. after calibration, both sensors are kept same and ones again switched on the cryo cooler, now both calibrated and uncalibrated sensors are not showing same temperature. Each time it varies. at higher temperature difference is nearly 1 K and lower temperatures its near 0.1 to 0.3
why does it behave like this. i took out the difference and tried to match the curve,. Now at Higher temperatures its matching. But at 4- 3 K, difference is 0.2 -0.3 K.
Can u pls guide what is the proper procedure of calibration and how to check it.
regards

You can find a detailed explanation on the calibration method and polynomial fits we use in Appendix D of our Temperature Catalog. Here is the link:

The information you want to read starts on page 100,

Hi Jeff,
I came across this thread and I am attempting something similar with a CX-1030. It seems that the link you posted earlier is broken now. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could post a newer version of it.
Thanks a lot in advance
