I have cernox sensors being read by a Lakeshore 224. The sensors are used in a SC magnet.
We had a quench and we are still sorting out what happened but one of the 224 units went down.
We cycled power a couple of times on the unit and it ended up returning to factory default settings.
The error says that there is no communication with the sensor input microprocessor and that sensor readings cannot be made.
What can be done?

Hi! It is possible that the quench just corrupted the memory in the unit and a firmware re-load might do the fix. If it doesn't help, the unit will have to be returned to the factory for repair. Firmware Updater: www.lakeshore.com/products/firmware-updaterPlease try the firmware update if possible and send us an email to support@lakeshore.com in case you need further assistance. Also send us the serial number of the unit so we can get started on the RMA paperwork. Greetings, Ogi K.

Ogi,
The firmware has been updated to v1.2 and the units still appear damaged. I've emailed support.
Thanks for your help!
