When performing autotune the process always stops in step 3 of 10. Also the device doesn't stop heating although the temperature is above the setpoint.

Dear Franziska,
This sounds like you have your manual output turned on to a percentage higher than 0%. The manual output then acts like an offset when used in PID control mode. Please press the "Manual Out" button and ensure it is set to 0%. This should take care of the "higher temperature than the setpoint" problem and may also take care of your tuning issue. If it doesn't please let us know. A brief description of your setup would be useful too.
Greetings, Ogi K.

Interesting is that the condition you are reporting is exactly opposite of a step 3 failure in autotune.
The first thing to verify is that you have the correct input assigned as the control input for the Output in question. If the sensor assignment is correct, there may be some corruption so you should perform a factory default values reset as described in section 8.7 of the Model 335 User Manual.
If this does not resolve the issue, it may be that your system cannot be tuned using Autotune. In that case, you should attempt to tune it manually as described in section 2.8 of the user manual.
