Hello,
LS-335 (ST -500 Cryostat) temperature controller is showing S. OVER when temperature goes below 70-80 kelvin while the cooling temperature is set to 4.2 kelvin. Previously it was not the case but from last some days it starts showing like this. Can you suggest me the possible solution?
Sensor: DT-670 Silicon diode. Excitation current: 10uA
Thank you.

S. Over indicates that the voltage measured exceeds 2.5V when the input is set for a Silicon Diode. Normally, when you see this error it indicates that the diode or its wiring have an open lead.
Please perform the Procedure for Testing Diode Sensors that can be found in the Temperature Product FAQ. Make sure to perform the test when you see the S. Over error occur. Please send your results to support@lakeshore.com and also provide the serial number of your ST-500 Cryostat so we can offer additional information to help resolve the issue.

Thanks for the message. The resistance is only 540 kilo-ohm at room temperature and infinite when S. over occurs. Temperature controller: LS335 s/n : LSA28AX control: Model: DT-670B-Cu-HT S/N: D6090530 Type: Cartridge Resistance 50ohm
