Hi All, I have a 240-8P that I'm trying to connect to ProfiBus DP, the red light on the front panel continues to flash and according to the manual its in parameterization mode. How does it come out of that mode? |

Basically when the 240-8P and PLC establish communications, as long as both devices are configured for the proper addresses, the ProfiBUS should become active automatically. I suggest you double check the addressing you have configured in the Model 240 matches what the PLC is expecting. If everything is correct, double check the wiring to make sure you are following the minimum requirements as described in the Model 240 user manual. You can also try reversing the A & B connections in case there is a cross over connection somewhere in the BUS wiring
