Hi,
I try to use curve handler to add the calibration of a cernox thermometer in the 336 but despite an active USB connection (well recognized by the computer), the program does not recognize the connection ... I cannot enter the corresponding COM port because the box always remains white and it is impossible to put the port number! I can load the curve in curve handler but I can't write it in controller because it doesn't connect. The Remote/Local button has no effect on the connection. in both cases the program displays "Not connected"! Can anyone help me? Thanx

Just to clarify, when you say the USB connection is well recognized by the computer, do you see the 336 identified with a COM Port assigned in the device manager? If you do see the 336 in the device manager, please install our Instrument Communications Utility (ICU) application found at: www.lakeshore.com/resources/software/instrument-communication-utility and see if you can connect using that application. Enter the COM Port assigned to the 336, Set the BAUD rate to57600 and check the Legacy Instruments Button and then click connect. If the command window appears, it is working. If you are able to connect using the ICU, the Curve Handler installation is not correct. Let me know your results.
