Hi,

We are using a Model 211 for temperature mesurement on a cryo pump.

The power supply cable ( power supply 109-132) does not work anymore. General power requirement states : 5VDC at 400mA, with barrel plug 5.5 mm.

We have several other supply with 5.5 mm barrel plug but with differents voltage or amperage specifications. I am wondering if the Model 211 can be used with other power supplies with different current or voltage?

The simple answer is no unless you have a supply that provides 5V with more than 400mA capability. The other requirement is that the positive connection is the center pin of the barrel connector with the negative connection on the outer connection.

You can purchase a new 109-132 power supply by contacting Quantum Design S.A.R.L, the Lake Shore representative for France who can assist you with the order.

Thanks you for your answer, I tried with a power supply with 5V and 2A and it seems to work. I will use it will purchasing a new 109-132.
