Hello, I have been able to run PID autotune successfully (...and return the updated PID values). However, when there is a case when the autotune algorithm generates an error at any stage, the "stage error" message appears on the LS-336 front panel.
The problem is clearing the error message. When I try to run the PID process again (....and simply ignore the message), it does not clear on the front panel. Also, it indicates an error from the first stage and subsequent stages. This indicates to me that the process is not working correctly.
I have tried resetting / initializing the LS-336 through the software (*CLS, *RST, and VISA CLR). Yet, the only method that works is doing a power reset on the LS-336.
Is there a method that can be implemented through the software that will clear the error message?
Thanks

According to the firmware, pressing the Escape or any front panel key should clear the error. Can you confirm what Firmware version you are running? To see the version, press and hold the Escape key in until the Product Information screen appears and press enter.

Thanks for the reply Jeff. The Firmware version is 2.8 (07/11/2016). Also, the Lakeshore serial number is LSA1961. Just FYI, I did give the "front panel keyboard" approach another try, and it did not clear the Autotune error message.
