open heater detect

I have a  model 335.

Because of a legacy system I'm using, I am using a 1000 ohm heater, (but the Open Heater Detect trips at ~ 500 ohms)

Is there a way to defeat  this?

I do have  models 331, 332 , and 336. Would one of these bypass this problem?

I can operate in open loop (manual mode) if required
