Good day. Please help to identify this sensor. I believe that this is Cernox in LR package but I do not understand what is the metal cylinder around it. I cannot find it in any docs

I believe the sensor could is an LR package, however, I cannot verify if it is a Cernox or Diode sensor as both are offered in the LR package. The LR package is an SD sensor packaged in a slightly more than half round cylinder as seen in your picture. If you have the sensor serial number, I can verify the sensor model.

Dear Jeff. I am new in a company and previous guy made very bad paperwork so I have no data about it. All unit was suplied by Chinese company and they have also very bad papers. This is pretty "old" sensor because now instead of it is installed some Chinese sensor. But my management asked me to identify previously installed sensor and try to source a new one. I found all data on your website - packages, cables etc. But I cannot identify this big silver adapter. How to order this option?

Without the serial number it is impossible for me to tell you what you need to order. If it is a diode sensor, there are several options as well as there are with the Cernox sensor.
Do you have the instrument that was being used to measure this sensor? If yes, how is the input configured for sensor type and curve assigned? If no, were out of luck to identify the model.

Sorry for my incorrect explanation. New sensor will be choosed by my management based on their expectations. I would like also to know how to order this green thing? Is this a standard option? All sensors are supplied with it?

Hi Jeff. We are engineering new lab unit for LNG application and according to our plans sensor will be placed inside long 6 mm tube. Lenght is about 3-5 meters. What solution do you recommend for such application? My management is worrying that we can damage cable and sensor when pulling it off the pipe. This custom shield was made for protection after damaging of several different probes when pulling if off the tube. It would stand across the tube and rest against the wall of the tube so stuff are damaging the cable. According to requirements it is not recommended to use temperature probes for temperatures below 20K - thats why holes were made.

Sorry to bother - where can I find photos of how temperature transducer Cernox LR is mounted to cable to understand if connection is robust and solid
