We have Lakeshore 325 with Si diode DT-670C-SD, the diode is mounted onto our low temperature manipulator in one ultra high vacuum chamber and they have worked well for years. Recently we have the problem that the 325 controller always displays around 450K when the system is in room temperature. And what's more weird is that when we connect cable to input A, we get 450K from display channel B, and under range for display channel A, vice versa. We measured the voltage between V+ and V- of the diode from the plug that connects to 325 input, and it gives 0.65V in room temperature. We couldn't find what's wrong now.

A typical Room Temperature voltage reading would be around 0.56V. 0.65 would be a temperature near 260K. Please send an email to support@lakeshore.com and I will send you our Diode Troubleshooting Guide so we can start diagnosing the situation.
