Goodmorning, I'm just entered in a project related to temperature measurement of parts inside a large dimension crtyostat. The idea is using your Cernox CX-1050-SD-HT sensing elements together with already assembled cabling that should be as long up to 20 meters and running inside a cold vacuum environment with high magnetic fields
Can you provide such a type of solution ? Can the signal be reliable with a so long leads/cabling ? Wich type of cabling/connection do you suggest ?
Would it be better (if possible) to locate a conditioning transmitter as close as possible to the sensor and then propagate the information in the rush environment with analog signal (4-20 mA , for example) or already in digital form or, due to the noisy electromagnetic enviromnet all around, it would be better, and possible, to collect the signals in a more centralized conditioning equipment, also if the connection cable to the probe could be several meters long ?
Thank you for a gentle suggestion,
Best regards, Andrea
