Hi,
I would like to use a Model 475 for synchronized field measurements in my setup. However, according to the manual, it is only possible to trigger a data logging sequence via the trigger-in but not to trigger individual readings to the data buffer. This seems weird, since it seriously limits the usability. Furthermore, the trigger out is no help, since I want to change the field, wait for 50 ms, and only then trigger the measurements.
Am I missing something or is the only feasible way here to read out the analog output pins via a triggered multimeter?
Many thx!

You are correct that the Trigger In function is only used to start a data logging event and cannot be used to capture individual readings as you desire.
Your suggestion on using the Analog Output with a Triggered Multimeter sounds like a viable option to accomplish what you need.
