I am currently working on a project that requires accurate measurements of low--field magnetic fields, specificall;y in the range of 0.1 to 10 Gauss. As I am new to this field; I am reaching out to your collective expertise for guidance in selecting the most suitable sensor.
I have been considering both Hall effect sensors and fluxgate magnetometers. However, I am unsure which would provide the optimal balance of sensitivity; accuracy, and long-term stability for my application. Any personal experiences or recommendations would be invaluable.
I am particularly interested in specific sensor models, calibration techniques, and best practices for maintaining accuracy over time.
