Dear all,
I have a question about the grease used for a broad temperature range. I am working on a Hall machine (Lake Shore) at a temperature range of 10K to 250K.
What is the best grease for that temperature range? I need to anneal my sample in vacuum and measure it at low temp.
Thank you for all your help in advance.
With best wishes, Loc Duong

Dear Loc,
I assume that your annealing temperature is higher than 250K - please clarify. Also, what is the model of your Hall system?
Thanks, Ogi K.

Dear Ogi,
My annealing temperature is 450K and I investigate the properties of samples from 450K to 10K. My Hall model is CRX-VF.
Thank you for all your help in advance.
With best wishes, Loc

Hello Loc, Our applications scientist recommends PELCO® High Performance Silver Paste – available from Ted Pella. It provides good thermal conductivity across the temperature range in question and, so long as you stay below 500 K, should be removable.
