Hello, I am trying to connect two temperature sensors (see pictures) to a Lakeshore Temperature Controller 331. I am finding difficulties to assign the two curves (that I previously loaded in positions 21 and 22 in the controller, using the Curve Handler) to each sensor. I think that the curves (resistance versus temperature) are correctly loaded in the controller since I can verify that all the details of each curve are successfully stored. Each curve contains 57 points of R (Ohms) vs T (Kelvin) and I can read them in "Curve Entry" section. I am also attaching here the *.curve and *.340 files of the sensors in order to verify that they are correctly written. These curves are not choosable when trying to assign them to the A and B inputs in “Input Setup”. The pre-selection of a given category of a detector (Silicon, GaAlAs RTDs: 100 Ω Platinum, 1000 Ω Platinum, etc) does not allow to choose the 21 and 22 curves afterwards. Can anyone give me some advice? Thank you! Attachments:NPSlist.340 (1.78 KB)

Hello!
Thank you for posting and sending us an email to service. Per my email, it appears that your user curve was not in the right format. Our instruments require NTC type sensor curves to be in log-Ohms/Kelvin. A common mistake that users make is that they keep the curve in Ohms/Kelvin format. For reference, below is the curve header and first three points how they should look:
Sensor Model: CX-1010-AA-0.1L Serial Number: X##### Data Format: 4 (Log Ohms/Kelvin) SetPoint Limit: 325.0 (Kelvin) Temperature coefficient: 1 (Negative) Number of Breakpoints: 192
No. Units Temperature (K)
1 1.47506 325.000 2 1.47957 319.000 3 1.48380 313.500
Greetings, Ogi K.
